SEVILLE, Dec 2 (SW) – Real Betis have reached agreements for strikers Florent Sinama-Pongolle and Helder Postiga in the January transfer window.

The Champions League participants will not be signing both players however, and will leave the final decision as to which player joins the club to coach Lorenzo Serra Ferrer.

"The agreement with the clubs has been reached, both for Postiga and Sinama, but obviously it's a decision that the manager must take," explained club Vice President Angel Martin.

"Both Sinama and Postiga are good players but it's a decision for the coaches.

"I understand the dilemma facing Lorenzo because he can't get it wrong, but the president has ensured both players are now available and the final decision will be the coach's."

Betis are desperate to recruit a striker given the season-ending injury to inspirational forward Ricardo Oliveira.

Lying second last in La Liga, Betis have also been linked with a move for Valencia’s Uruguayan midfielder Mario Regueiro.
