MARSEILLE/MOSCOW, Nov 24 (SW) - Olympique de Marseille needed a late goal to beat SC Heerenveen, while 2005 UEFA Cup winners CSKA Moscow got their first group win, at the expense of Levski.
Olympique de Marseille - SC Heerenveen 1-0
Heerenveen were close to earning their first point in this group stage, but the French eventually took the victory with a converted penalty from Taye Ismaila Taiwo in stoppage time.
CSKA Moscow - Levski Sofia 2-1
One of CSKA's most influential players during the 2004-05 season, the Brazilian Vagner Love, scored for the Russians in the 49th and 73rd mintues to give his side a comfortable lead. Valeri Domovchiski got one back for the Bulgarians in the 90th minute.
