BARCELONA, Nov 5 (SW) – Barcelona have not have had the best of weeks.

It started midweek when their heated and controversial match between themselves and Chelsea ended 2 – 2 thereby making it more difficult for them to qualify for the round of sixteen.

On Friday the team heard news that the father of captain Carles Puyol was killed in an accident at work.

Yesterday former Barcelona player, twenty nine year old Sergi Lopez Segu died after he threw himself under a moving train.

The former Barcelona, Mallorca and Zaragoza player is reported to have had personal problems.

His brother Gerard Lopez Segu plays for AS Monaco.

Last night Barcelona dropped two more valuable Primera Division points when they drew 1 – 1 away to Deportivo La Coruna.
