BLACKBURN, Oct 21 (SW) - Nikola Mijailovic insists he did not use racist language toward Blackburn's Benni McCarthy.

"Both of us were swearing but there was no racist abuse at all," commented Mijailovic.

McCarthy claimed the Wisla Krakow player had racially abused him throughout the Uefa cup match, which was played at the Wisla stadium in Poland.

The English F.A have already written to Uefa about the Incident and Blackburn boss Mark Hughes has asked them to "take as strong action as it is allowed to do."

"It happened right throughout the game. Benni, to his credit, did not react to them and he highlighted the issue to a number of Krakow players and the referee at half time," said Hughes after the game.
