Polish strugglers RTS Widzew £ódŸ have sacked coach Marek Zub with the club second from bottom in the Ekstraklasa and have appointed former Poland trainer Janusz Wójcik.

 Zub, 43, took over from Micha³ Probierz in September but was unable to inspire an upturn in fortunes and has now made way for the 54-year-old Wójcik. The new man's most notable achievement came in 1992 when he led Poland to a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Barcelona.
