LONDON (AFP) - Everton have completed the signing of England Under-17 international Dan Gosling from Championship side Plymouth, it was revealed on Tuesday.

The 17-year-old midfielder has made just 24 senior appearances for Argyle but has done enough to convince Everton manager David Moyes he is ready to make the step up to the top flight.

Gosling will cost the Toffees an initial one million pounds with a further one million based on the level of appearances he makes for club and country. The length of contract was not immediately revealed.
