Wigan manager Steve Bruce will wait anxiously on Monday for news of the scan on Emile Heskey´s injured foot after the England striker limped out of his side´s goalless draw with Arsenal.

The loss of Heskey after 55 minutes was the only blot on what was a superb defensive performance by the Latics against the Barclays Premier League leaders.

"He went for a challenge with William Gallas and he will go for a scan and we hope it is not too serious," said Bruce.
