Turkish Süper Lig side Konyaspor have named Raºit Çetiner as their coach, 24 hours after the resignation of Ünal Karaman. The former Galatasaray AS and Fenerbahçe SK player, who previously coached Turkey's Under-21s, has signed a one-and-a-half year contract with a club sitting 14th in the 18-team table.
"We have to turn it around immediately," Çetiner said. "We are going through hard times, but our target is to get as many points as possible in the rest of the season to move well clear of the relegation zone."
