VIENNA (AFP) - Tunisian international Mejdi Traoui has agreed to play for Salzburg from next season, the Austrian first division runners-up confirmed on Thursday.

The 24-year-old midfielder, who arrives from African champions Etoile Sahel, has agreed a deal which will keep him in Austria until mid-2011.

The transfer fee was not revealed.

Traouri, who scored a stunning goal against Senegal during the last African Nations Cup, had been targeted by several big European clubs.
