MILAN, May 11 (SW) - Inter Milan once again missed out on the championship in Italy as Mancini's men were held to a 2-2 draw at home by AC Siena.
Inter began the match with a three-points advantage over AS Roma, and had a good start as Patrick Vieira opened the score after just eleven minutes.
Maccarone levelled for Siena in the 31st minute, but Balotelli restored Inter's lead just before half time.
A goal from Kharja in the 69th minute however, set the score to 2-2.
AS Roma did win their match against Atalanta Bergamo, with goals from Panucci and De Rossi.
With an advantage of just one point, Inter close their season at Parma next week, while Roma visit Catania.
